With four kids and a husband who works a lot, I often need something quick for dinner. Sam's Club is my go to place for a fast, easy, and cheap meal. With the holidays life gets even a little crazier. I like to host play dates, and craft nights, and go Christmas Caroling. I often spend a good amount of time prepping the craft, cleaning, creating a fun holiday themed setting, or organizing an event...that by the time all the work is done the last thing I want to do is cook.
Last week, we had a little Christmas Tree party.
For the decorations...I used brown paper packaging to cover my table. I grabbed a little fluff (like the kind you would use to stuff a pillow) and I positioned the fluff around a cake stand. I added a few village trees I had laying around. Then, I finished decorating with a few other trees I had around the house.
For the craft...I picked up a few foam Christmas Trees for $1. FIRST: I hole punched the tops of the trees. THEN: I handed out some glue...and some items that glittered...and tinsel...and of course colored poms. NEXT: I encouraged our party guest to decorate their trees. FINALLY: We tied string at the top and bam! we had a cute and simple homemade ornament.
For the food...I picked up Sam's Club Cafe Pizza and Coca-Cola Bundle. The bundle comes with a 16 Inch Pizza, Cheesy Breadsticks, Cookies, and (1) 2 L of Coca-Cola. My Coca-Cola bottle said to share with loved ones...I did just that. This bundle fed 6 people! The pizza was HUGE! I ordered at the food counter and my bundle was ready to be picked up in 15mins. The best part, was by far the price tag!! This bundle cost $13.98. I would have easily spent that, plus some if I were to make food for a party. So I saved money, didn't have to cook, and I was able to feed my party guest. More importantly I was able to spend time enjoying my loved ones...instead of cooking a meal.

It's 6:40 am and I am drinking my "allotted" amount of pregnancy coffee and can I tell you how good pizza sounds? (Insert laughing/crying emoji) :) I know it is slightly off topic...but that is now all I can think about. Ha.
These craft ideas are adorable. :) I will be doing them with E soon....but first...Pizza.
