here is this months review and giveaway from tommy nelson mommy!
I got the chance to check out this sweet little book Lullabible by Stephen Elkins.
It is a book that includes prayers, poems, lullaby song lyric, and keepsake journal. I hands down though the journal was the best part. The CD is sweet too, perfect for bedtime.
Includes a full-length lullaby hymn CD

My favorite lullaby as a baby was Itsy Bitsy Spider (I lovedddd the hand motions!)
I'm currently pregnant with my first and hum the Itsy Bitsy Spider to my baby....but once I know the baby can hear, I'll be singing many songs =D
I don't have a child yet, but as a kid my favorite hymn to sing during Sunday School was "Jesus Loves the Little Children"

Matt loves to sing all the Christmas Carols he learned during his time in the pageant choir this year. I love hearing his little voice belt out tunes at Mass. When he was little though, I sang "Moon River" and Cole Porter tunes in the wee hours of the night.
I loved Mary had a little lamb and loved the song "She'll be coming 'round the mountain when she comes". Hhaha. I would listen to it repeatedly on my record player. Bahahaha. Awesome.
I loved the song "I've got the Joy, Joy, Joy down in my heart." No doubt I will sing that to my kiddos....when we have them. :)
How sweet is this book? I always sang to my babies...love. xo
Is this giveaway still open? I hope so! Otherwise that's what I get for checking in on my favorite blogs only once a week ;)
My favorite "lullaby" as a kid was You Are My Sunshine. Maybe that's not a lullaby, but it was my favorite :)
The kids and I sing "This Little Light of Mine" almost every night before bed.
And "This is My Father's World" is the hymn I always sang to both babies when they'd cry. Brylee tries to sing it with me now :)
what a sweet treasure.
