Breakfast bowls + smoothies with Hiland Dairy.

Woah! Did you know that cottage cheese can be blended and mixed into smoothies or used for a breakfast bowl!? 






It's not even hard. You simply place the cottage cheese into a food processor or a blender...and blend! Blend until smooth. That's it! 






Once the cottage cheese is blended, place in a bowl and top with your favorite toppings! 

I used fresh fruits like strawberries and blueberries. I also topped my bowl with roasted almonds. I need a little sweetness in my life so I added honey. Be warned if you don't add honey this will be VERY tart. In fact my family said that blended cottage cheese could be a goo d substitute for sour cream! 




We also tested out adding a little blended cottage cheese to our breakfast smoothie. This was a great way to add protein and vitamins to your morning!
