Brooklyn made a pretty convincing argument to mom, and convinced her to get her a night at The Great Wolf Lodge for her birthday. I'm pretty glad she did, we had so much fun! Grandma, even got to sneak away from work and come swimming with us!
Brooklyn was so excited leading up to this night!! She TOLD everyone she was going to The Great Wolf Lodge! She beamed the whole way there! She was so brave in the water and even went down the water slide once, with dad, but only once! I too braved the water slide with Elisabeth, but only once. I may or may not have screamed the whole way down...water slides aren't my jam.
We skipped school the next day....spend waaaaaaayyyyyy too much money at the arcade #dadhadtowin. We ate pizza with cousins + aunts + grandma. We woke up early and brought back bagels + coffee for breakfast. We requested a birthday poster for the birthday girl. We had a loft room...which didn't matter because no one was brave enough to sleep up there alone. We danced, ate ice cream, admired all the wolf items, and sat by the fire.
This day made my list on tops days of 2018!
