November is my favorite month of the year. I love the colors, the food, the gatherings, the colors and the fragrances.
Fall fragrances are my favorite!
That's why I'm sure to include American Home™ by Yankee Candle® in all my festivities.
These candles smell ah-mazing!
The Yankee Candle® name is a quality and trusted brand and now you can purchase the American Home™ by Yankee Candle® brand at Walmart! (yay!)
American Home™ by Yankee Candle® offers high quality, rich, fragrances with a long lasting aromatic impact...they offer a clean burn start to finish...and American Home™ by Yankee Candle® brand collection brings the quality of this beloved brand to Walmart.
Currently Walmart is offering some awesome seasonal fragrances like...Sugar Coated Cinnamon, Fresh Balsam Fir, Sweet & Salty Caramel and my personal favorite Homemade Pumpkin Pie.
I wanted to showcase American Home™ by Yankee Candle® as my main focal point on my backyard table. I set out to create a harvest style center piece. I really liked how this turned out because the DIY was affordable and versatile. This set up could be used indoors or outdoors...and it would also make a great hostess gift when you head to your next event.
You'll need:
American Home™ by Yankee Candle® in the fragrance and color of your liking.
a foam circle to set candle on
a grapevine wreath (optional) ( I will provide a tutorial at the end if you'd like to make your own!)
some pumpkins (I picked mine up after Halloween on clearance)
pinecones
cinnamon sticks
extra goodies you thing would go well with your centerpiece.
glue ( I used hot glue)
FIRST: Start by hot gluing the grapevine wreath to styrofoam circle...this will create your base.
THEN: Start arranging your your pieces until you have reached a design you like. When I had my centerpiece how I wanted it to look...I just started gluing pieces down...the more glue the better!
I grabbed a few place mats...some plate chargers...and some bowls...and I set the table. I placed my DIY center piece in the middle...then I placed a fall looking scarf I had laying around and a JOY sign...and my table was complete.

Always burn your candle on a heat resistant surface, keep it out of drafts and NEVER leave it unattended while lit. // Also make sure the candle wicks are cut 1/8 of an inch to ensure the flame isn’t too large // Every time you burn your candle, allow the entire top layer to become a fragrant pool of liquid wax and you’ll get the biggest, boldest fragrance possible.
When only ½" of the wax remains, it’s time to let your candle go
Now for the grapevine DIY...making your own grapevine wreath is actually quite easy...you simply need grapevines...that's it!
NOTE: You MUST use green vines.
All you need to do is create a circle...keep adding more vines to that circle...all while wrapping the vines around your original created circle...this is why you need to use green vines...they bend easy and can be weaved in and out of the wreath.

Once you have a wreath to your size and fullness of liking...all you need to is allow the vines to dry out for a few days...once it is brown it is ready to use!
