Banana Cream Pie.
You'll need: bananas (duh.) // heavy cream ( you can use cool whip if you don't want to do the extra work ) // toasted coconut // vanilla pudding // a bunch of cookies ( vanilla wafers, graham crackers, or whatever you have lurking in the pantry ) // sugar ( sugar is always a good thing) // butter ( is butter a carb? ) // sweetened condensed milk //
Throw all ingredients in a bowl and you're done....just kidding...that would be nice, huh?
Pie crust // 1 1/2 cups cookie crumbs // 1/3 cup melted butter // 1/3 sugar // mix all together and smash in a pie dish and then bake @350 for 8-10 minutes //
Whipped cream // 1 cup of heavy cream // 2 tablespoons of sugar // whisk for 10-15 mins. (or you can just buy cool whip)
Toasted coconut // spread sweetened coconut on a baking sheet and bake @350 7-8 mins until golden. Keep a watch on this so it doesn't burn.
Filling // make vanilla pudding according to directions on the box...BUT use 1 1/2 cups of milk instead of the full 2 cups of milk. Add half of your whipped cream mixture to the pudding. Then add half a can of sweetened condensed milk to the mixture, as well. Slice bananas and cover pie crust. Spead filling over cooled cookie crust. Top pie with a layer of remaining whipped cream. Then finally add the toasted coconut on top.
Grab a fork, and a plate if necessary, and enjoy.
I want this right now! Haha. Looks delish!
