It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so! ~Mark Twain
I am over winter. I am so ready for spring. It is going to be 70 degrees today, I'm overjoyed! However, I have lived in the Midwest long enough to know winter will be cruel a few more times, and spring is not quite here to stay.
In the meantime while I restlessly wait for spring to make a permanent statement, I will dream of...coffee on the porch, sweet tea, kids that are so dirty from playing outside they need a good soak in the tub to get clean, lilacs, the planting of garden seeds, birds chirping...just chirping not the actual birds...after all you know how I feel about birdies, windows wide open, green grass, the ability to leave the house without coats, hats, mittens, and scarves, and the warmth of the sun
Spring shows what God can do with a drab and dirty world. ~Virgil A. Kraft
