The hubs is a good man. A good man who works hard, and loves projects. About a year ago he got the idea in his head to build a patio out back. I told him as long as it was cheap I didn't care what he did. So cheap he kept it and slowly but surely this above photos are his finished project. He hand laid (each piece you see) every stone you see on the ground. He build the table...by hand. He built the fireplace...by hand. He took my subtle hints about how I really wanted those tree stumps I kept seeing by the side of the road abandon...just sitting there... for chairs...as a mothers day present. He worked diligently to create a lovely outdoor space for our family. So I just wanted to say job well done hubs, job very well done. I can't wait for fall so we can sit by the fire and eat some s'mores.
note: I helped supervise this project ... and by supervise I mean I watch through the window, brought out ice cold glasses of water and tea, and the most important job of all...I decorated the table...all by my self :)
