On my mind this Thursday:

18 days with out rain

Elisabeth is still listening to Christmas music.

Can't stopping praying for this little girl.

We picked our first little pumpkin from our garden this weekend.

Potty Training might be the end of me...blahh. Any tips for training little boys?

I don't think we've gone 18 hours without rain since the beginning of September.

Has it really been that long for you guys? That seems odd to me. I have no advice on training little boys, sorry! Haha, you wouldn't expect me to though, right? And she's still listening to Christmas music? That is too funny! She's going to be sick of it come Christmas, right?!

Oh no, I'm not the one to ever ask about kids! Cheerios right?

OMG - I can't imagine what that family is going through. Who does that? Insanity.
Boys. Potty training...takes a ton of patience. And cheerios. Target practice if you will - definitely made ours somewhat more interested in trying the potty.

We have been praying for Baby Lisa since it happened. Scary when this happened almost in our backyard.

Potty training tips for boys...if you can...let them pee on trees. I know, I know. But this worked for my boys. Of course we live out on three acres so it wasn't too big a deal.

ok with little boys you seriously have to let them go on themselves. they or mine were totally lazy but they did realize that being wet and smelly was not how they wanted to roll and finally used the toilet. it took me about a week for each. they also like rewards. i gave them a couple skittles each time they went successfully in the potty.

i love the son up till son down print.
IT'S SO TRUE!

I'm kinda laughing right now because I just wrote a post about potty training my boy. It's hard work! And kinda gross! LOL! I haven't posted it yet but I'm sure I will soon. And there's no advice contained in my words, just a little humor.

Potty training boys is hard. I wanted to start earlier with my oldest but he was resistant. So I waited until he was almost 3 and he was more ready. I let him run around for 3 days with nothing on. It was messy and gross, I'm not going to lie. I also set a timer for every ten minutes and made him sit on the potty and at least try. He had it down in a week. Don't get me wrong, he still has some accidents every once in a while but for the most part he's good. Good luck and hang in there. Patience is my biggest advice.

Love your little boy quote!! As for potty training... I have three boys done and one more left. Wait for them to be ready. Don't let outside pressure get to you and stress you out. All in good time, not our timing, unfortunately, but they do get it... eventually. Good luck!!
