{ source: the olive tree}

I used to repeat this scripture over and over when I was younger any time I felt scared or frazzled...about minor things like a scary movie, or a dark outside cellar...my parents used to make me go in to turn on the water heater in the winter...

Now that I am a little more grow up I realize that this scripture is really meant to be applied in our life and daily walk with God...I can apply this scripture to real fears that I might have about my children, God's will for my life, and so on. Don't live a timid or cowardice life when it comes to God...Be bold, because in Christ we have power, love, and sound mind.

this was meant for me wasn't it. I am still afraid to go outside in the dark. But I have made it a goal to read the scriptures more often.

This is definitely a scripture I should be referring to often...I'm kind of a worry wort and can drive myself crazy over things that should not be such a big deal!

Amen sister! We are not ones who shrink back. We are an unstoppable force meant to change the world through love, kindness and forgiveness and we need to remember that!

Thanks for posting this verse. I was already sensing the Lord's prompting me to blog about my daughter's rebellion and our journey "home". Just didn't want to put myself that far out there in transparency. This scripture was confirmation, so I did. Here's the link if you would like to see how the Lord used you today in my life :)
