Elisabeth and I were playing during Jude's nap time last week. She mentioned something along the lines of "what are we doing tomorrow?" So immediately I broke out in to song..."tomorrow, tomorrow, I'll love ya tomorrow, your only a day awaaaaaaaaaaay!...

Blank stares are all that came back at me...(I'm going to tell myself it had nothing to do with my singing, because I know I rocked that song). Suddenly I realized I have never shown this poor girl the movie Annie!?! Then I got really excited. Miss Roo has crossed over to the age where she can watch those movies with me. The hubs will NOT watch musicals. If fact most of the people in my life will not watch musicals with me. I showed Elisabeth a clip of Annie on You Tube and she was hooked. So Annie, Sound of Music, Mary Poppins...here we come.

Do you like musicals?

If so what is your favorite?

If I had to pick, I would go with The Sound of Music.

I love musicals so much! The Sound of Music, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers has always been a favorite too. I just love it when Adam starts singing "Bless her Beautiful Hide!" Hilarious.

Oh that's a great idea to show my kids Annie...I loved that movie as a kid! I used to have a locket necklace for it too. Also, I was in your neck of the woods this weekend and we visited the Nelson-Atkins art gallery and sculpture garden (although it didn't seem to have a lot of sculptures). I totally enjoyed hearing my kid's opinions of the modern art! That was hilarious! Have you been there? We also went to a open air farmers market over by the Steamboat Arabia and then over to Five Guys for dinner (which I really enjoyed).
Blessings,
Jenni
