This little cutie stopped a beetle from being smashed to death by a rock, yesterday.
She loves all living creatures...apparently even bugs.
We were at Jude’s baseball game last night and an older kid (I’d say he was 11 or 12) was trying to smash a beetle on the slide at the park.
Lyla was having none of it. She started yelling at this boy...telling him to STOP! STOP! You’re going to hurt it! Bugs are good for the soil! After a few more stops! the boy walked away...so basically this little beetle owes her one. 😉
While we’re on the subject of Lyla girl...can we talk about her outfit?

How cute are these shorts? It looks like a skirt...which Lyla loooooves!...but are most defiantly shorts...which dad loooooves. They have a cute little pull through belt and the material is soft. If you decide to order I would order a few sizes up. Lyla is already on the tallest kiddos in her grade so I already buy clothing beyond her age group...I went ahead and order a 12 thinking maybe they could fit E and if they didn’t Lyla could wear them...I do think E could fit into them...but they are more comfortable on Lyla.
Also...she has a disco ball dress that was a hand me down tucked into her shorts. Style, I tell ya...style.
