Homemade bread...is ah-mazing. You'd be surprised to know it's actually quite easy to make.
I have a divine recipe that only has four ingredients and requires no kneading.
You'll need:
3 cups of flour
1 packet of instant yeast
1 teaspoon of salt
1 1/2 cups of water
All you need to do is mix these ingredients together...and cover with a towel...and let sit for at least 4 hours...but up to 24.
Speaking of towels...I adore towels. We have a towel draw in my house. I use them for cleaning...scrubbing...covering bread...and more. My most recent towel find is the Scotch-Brite® Scrubbing Dish Cloth.
The scrubbing dots on one side made it sooooooo easy to scrub of the sticky dough left in the bowl. Have you ever cleaned up yeast dough?...it can be a total pain...it is such a tough sticky mess!! Scotch-Brite® Scrubbing Dish Cloth made this dreaded mess so simple...no need to use my nails or a knife...and I didn't ruin my towels (like in the past) by causing the dough to stick to them...the dough did not stick to this dish cloth.
The cool part about Scotch-Brite® Scrubbing Dish Cloth is that this towel scubs but does NOT scratch. These cloths are also washable, reusable, sturdy...and are capable of washing and drying!
See???? Squeaky clean.
Ok...now back to the bread...
Once dough has risen...place dough on parchment paper and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Feel free tif top bread with fresh rosemary and sea salt before baking...this adds so much flavor!
If you're interested in making this recipe be sure to pick up all your ingredients at Walmart and while you're there be sure to grab Scotch-Brite® Scrubbing Dish Cloth to help you clean up this mess...and to cover your dough while it rises.
