One of my favorite ways to use Scotch-Brite® Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge is to use them to clean my cabinets.

Do you ever notice those smudge marks along the edges of your cabinet?

Streaks of food?

Teeny tiny finger prints?

Those drive me crazy.

(See all the gunk along my cabinet?)

I have a very simple and effective fix for this problem.

The best part is, you'll only need a few simple household items to complete this task.

You'll need:

baking soda
dish soap
water
a sponge

I used Scotch-Brite® Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge (which would be the green sponge / green means heavy duty...and the blue sponges are non-scratch ) The heavy duty sponge cleans %50 faster! Now, I used the HEAVY DUTY sponge on my cabinets...if you are worried about scratches...please feel free to use the Scotch-Brite® Non-Scratch Scrub Sponge. That is the best part about Scotch-Brite items...they offer  a right tool for EVERY surface!!!

Scotch-Brite® Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge can be used for...Pots, Pans, Oven Racks, Grill Racks, Tools, Tires, Sinks, and more!

Scotch-Brite® Non-Scratch Scrub Sponge can be used for Non-Stick Cookware, Counter Tops, Cook Tops, Tubs, Shower Tile, Windows, Dishes, and more.

First place about 2 tablespoons of baking soda in a bowl

Then add add about a drop or two of dish soap

Finally add water at teaspoon at a time until the mixture resembles toothpaste.

Once you're mixture is complete use your fingers and spread the paste on the cabinets...wherever is dirty.

Use your sponge (the heavy duty side) and scrub away the grime...and dirt...and food along the edges...or where the cabinets are handled most.

Then wet your sponge (the soft side) and use it to wipe the baking soda clean. This may take a couple times to remove all the baking soda.

Finally, wipe your cabinet dry and marvel at your work.

That's it! You're done! This to safe and all natural way to affectively clean your cabinets without removing the stain.

NOTE: As always be sure to TEST a surface area first!!

    Would you ever try this?
