Any race fans out there? 

I live in the Midwest, we have our fair share of fans here. By "fair share" I mean, a lot. 

Race day can be intense! So can the aches and pains of daily life. Advil can help with that!

Interested in the race car DIY my littles went crazy over??

It couldn't be easier! 

You'll need:

brown packaging paper

street tape (any patterned style tape will do) (if you don't have tape you can color a road with markers) 

race cars

crayons or markers (to draw people, shops, houses )

First tape down brown packaging paper, like below. Then, add on strip of street style tape. 

 

 

Next, tape down another "lane" so that two cars can race each other.

 

Get out your drawing tools and color away! My kiddos created a whole town filled with houses, ice cream shop, people, and more.

 

 

Finally, take turns racing cars to the end of the town! This DIY was a hit with all four of my children! They range in age from 9-1...they all enjoyed creating the town and they  enjoyed racing each other even more.
