summer.

Today is the  last day of school! For the next 70+ days I will have all my little chicks under the same roof. I am so excited! My oldest daughter is a really great sibling, and all my children seem to get along better when she is around. This will also be the last summer Jude will be home before he has to head off to kindergarten. Being 25+ weeks pregnant...we will not be traveling this summer...so we decided to sit down and make a summer bucket list...

feed baby goats // spend endless days at the pool // jump off the diving board // learn to swim // go to union station // visit the zoo // make goo and our own dolls // play tennis // go to silver dollar city // eat BLTS // make a few trips to the ice cream shop // camp in the back yard // walk around the plaza // spend lazy mornings drinking coffee on the porch // chase down the ice cream man // cheer one our swimmer at swim meets // cheer on the boy at baseball games // paint // go geocaching // hang out with cousins // have a goonies party // go bowling // beat 2048 //  Saturday night fire-pits and pizza // enjoy the simple bliss of having nothing to do that summer offers //

Tell me what is on your summer bucket list?

Okay, so I am coming over and enjoying a lazy morning with coffee, then we will go pet baby goats! (You know how I LOVE GOATS!) ;) next we will eat blts for lynch, go swimming and then have pizza by the fire pit.

Sounds like a great day!

These are my favourite kind of summers! I'm hoping to get Ava to Wonderland for the first time {it's a local amusement park}...lots of ice cream, a walk downtown by the water for sure...and Florida. Def Florida.

At the top of my list for this summer is - Survive! We are moving cross-country in a few weeks, and I really want to keep what little sanity I have left. We also have a lot of fun things we are planning to do this summer too - visit Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore, Chicago, enjoy warm weather, find a splash pad close to our house....

being an older mom my list is more selfish! : ) I plan to stop at as many yard sales as I can...start to help plan my daughter's wedding- a year from now, take care of my many gardens and I'd reallllllly like to learn how to use my expensive photoshop program that I've had for 4 years and not figured out! Loved your list....I think your main job is growing a real live human being inside you- that's a mighty job girl! xo
