Oh come let us adore him /// A baby being born is such an exciting life event.! Visitors flock to adore any new babe, or at least they do in my family. They all crowd in a small room waiting their turn to hold and swoon over the newest little bundle. They did the very same thing over 2,000 years ago. Wise men and shepherds sought out to worship a new king...a baby king at that...a baby that would come to save the world form sin...a baby that would be the ultimate gift from god.

Although none of us were present at our saviors birth, we serve a mighty God that we can adore this very day. A god that is present in our lives today, and not some one who lives in the past. So remember the reason we are celebrating this lovely holiday season and let us... come and adore Christ the king.

After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born King of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him.”  /// Matthew 2:1-2
