fear. It is any ugly thing.

It controls and destroys minds.

Rejoice my friends because ... God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and love and sound mind. (1 timothy 1:7)

The next time you feel fear starting to rise up remember that is not of God, it is of the enemy... and let him know so by battling your fear with the above scripture // Anytime I feel that uneasy of fear starting to creep in ... I  immediately tell myself  this scripture and I immediately relax.

If I am being truly honest fear is not a huge issue for me... I have put the above into practice and practice has made perfect ...

after all whom shall i fear? 'cause I am yours ...

i love how you say that practicing this makes perfect. that's really what it's about, practicing the gospel day in and day out until we get it right. i see so many believers, myself included worry about things the Lord has commanded us not to worry about. for me I think that being in constant prayer and devotion with Him is what makes things easier.

I struggled with fear of sickness/virus/illness without knowing how bad I was letting it get. Then, about 4 years ago, I literally had a full-scale panic attack! That's when I got serious about taking this fear to God and letting him re-wire me. Just like you said...it is something that needs to be practiced. Over and over agian Jesus has been faithful, and I am finally free from that paralyzing fear!
