for this year, my word was 'light.' i want to be a light in the darkness. in the field i work in, i speak to a lot of people and it seems like just this month i've gotten more calls of people going through heartache. although it's put me out of my comfort zone, i've asked if i can keep them in my prayers and started a list of their names. it's a work in progress, but i'm beginning to see how He can use me in even the smallest feats.

I love this! I was talking to a friend recently about how I struggle with openly sharing my faith with those who may not be believers...and she said exactly what this post said--that we live out our faith and trust in Him by being the light of the world! How true it is! I try to remember that even in the smallest moments, my actions and reactions can reflect Him.

Christina! Just had to write you back and say that YES I watch Parenthood----I try to always be home, showered and in my big chair (my hubbie calls it "command central") in time to tune in- I can't wait for the new season- stay warm my friend~ xo

Even after the 31 days series and the ebook + giving project, I'm still searching for the exact ways He is leading me to use my light. Striving to do that more through being a positive mom--Praise God, He hasn't given up on me yet!

i try to let me light shine by being honest and authentic with people about my shortcomings and what God is doing in my life. He get's all the credit!
