When Peter asked Jesus how many times he should forgive someone who sins against him ... Jesus replied not seven times but seventy times seven. ( matt. 18: 22 ) Peter was actually being very generous in asking to forgive up the seven times...the traditional limit was three. The point is not to count but to always be willing to forgive.

Do you need forgiveness in your life today?

p.s. forgiveness and reconciliation are two very different things.
