I'm so excited to share with you today, not one, not two, but three of my favorite holiday recipes!!

My famous pumpkin bread is a weekly staple in our home. It's so popular that my family can recognize it by the smell! We enjoy pairing a good cup of hot chocolate to go with the bread. For the holiday season I have a soft spot for making homemade peppermint whipped cream! It truly adds the magical touch to a warm cup of happiness.

This year while we ate the bread and sipped the cocoa we decorated ginger bread cookies + a house!

First up, peppermint whipped cream!

You'll need:

2 cups of heavy whipping cream
3 tablespoons of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon of  McCormick® Pure Peppermint Extract

Mix + whip until thick!

McCormick® Pure Peppermint Extract

Want to know a little secret to making the best whipped cream??? CHILL THE BOWL BEFORE WHIPPING. This tiny little tip makes all the difference.

Now onto the gingerbread houses!! Up until last year we usually just bought the pre-made houses, but then we discovered how easy it truly is to make these yourself!

You'll need:

Mix all together and chill for 30 mins. Roll out and use a template to trace house pieces. bake @350 for 25-30 mins.

For stain glass simply melt a hard candy on parchment paper @350 for about 5-10 minutes.

Up next, my personal favorite...BLUE RIBBON WINNING PUMPKIN BREAD!

You'll Need:

3 1/2 cups of flour // 2 tsp. baking soda // 1 1/2 tsp. salt // 2 tsp McCormick® Ground Cinnamon // 3 cups of sugar  // 1 cup vegetable oil // 4 eggs // 2/3 cup of water // 1 can (or 2 cups)  of pumpkin //

Mix the dry ingredients and then add the wet. Pour batter into one large loaf pan or into small pans and then bake @350 for 60 to 70 mins. This bread is amazing right out of the oven...and even better if you cover the loaf with foil for a day before eating.

For best results I highly recommend McCormick®  Ground Cinnamon.
