Stromboli!

Stromboli is crazy easy to make and is a nice alternative to pizza.

I promise it isn't complicated to make.

You'll need a pizza dough recipe. I personally use Bobby Flay's pizza dough

You will also need a handful of your favorite toppings...or fillings...in this case. 

I like Italian sausage, mushrooms, salami, and spinach. Don't forget the sauce +  cheese! Mozzarella of any kind will do, and sauce is whatever your personal preference is.


Prepare dough according to Bobby Flay. Then roll dough out flat. Layer with sauce, seasonings if desired, topping choices, and cheese. Once all toppings are on top of the dough....starting at one end roll towards the other end. 

I would HIGHLY recommend doing this on parchment paper...this isn't necessary...but it's helpful. 

I also like to brush the top with a little melted butter or olive oil + garlic salt...again this adds a little extra flavor...but isn't necessary. 


Bake @400 for at least 30 mins.
