It's spring in my neck of the woods...I know because my lilacs are starting to bloom, the tornado sirens have already been put to use, baseball has over taken all my free time, and I feel the need to open the windows CLEAN everything.
I have a few tips to make spring cleaning easier!
1.) Get the family involved! My girls like to put on fancy dresses and pretend they are Cinderella. They love cleaning the windows and vacuuming.
2.) Work on one room at a time. (It doesn't have to get all done in one day) Clean out the drawers...clean the nooks and crannies...dust...polish...and organize.
3.) Don't be afraid to throw away and donate. Sometimes we can get a trash bag a room!!!
4.) Pay attention to the details like the windows...open the windows and clean the gunk that has been trapped since winter.
5.) Touch up the walls with paint...this makes such a HUGE impact on a room!
6.) Vacuum all the corners and the vents!
7.) Save the floors for last!
