Are you a  race day fan?

I grew up in the Midwest...watching and listening to the races...my younger brother was obsessed with toys cars and monster trucks...cars were a staple in my childhood.

In honor of up coming race days and car lovers everywhere...I set out to make a simple car DIY. This project was so easy and would make the perfect gift...or great addition to a baby nursery...oooooor this would even be a simple way to add wall decor to a car themed bedroom!

You'll need a few simple items:

letter of choice ( or multiple letters to spell out a name! )
chalkboard paint ( either spray or the brush on kind )
white chalk
toy car ( old or used )
glue
Advil® Film-Coated...why Advil?...ever tried to make a DIY project with a two year old and four year old helping???...talk about instant headache...seriously they come crawling out of the woodworks when I start a DIY project...they want to touch wet paint...steal my car...and run of with my letter...good times, good times

I prefer Advil because the rapid release formula goes to work in minutes*! Advil® Film-Coated can be used for more than just headaches...it can be used for muscle aches, toothaches, menstrual cramps, back pain, and aches and pains associated with the common cold. Nothing's faster on tough pain*!

*Among OTC pain relievers

Okkkkk....back to the project.

Step one: Paint your letter with chalkboard paint...I spray painted mine. It took about two minutes to complete this task.

Step two: Allow paint to dry. I let mine dry over night.

Step three: With white chalk draw road lines on your letter.

Step four: Glue ( I used hot glue) down a toy car to your letter!

That's it! You can place this on a book shelf...add a back and hang it on the wall...use as a race car party craft...spell out a whole name with more letters...the possibilities are endless.

Be sure to pick up your Advil® Film-Coated at Walmart today!
