Traveling with your toddler. My first thought was...wait. what people travel with toddlers? My second thought was DRIVE...that way if they scream and throw a huge fit...they aren't driving anyone else crazy and you can just turn up the music a little louder and ignore them. I am totally mostly kidding on above sentences of those....mostly

Road trips:

First, off my oldest daughter gets carsick....good times, good times. So make sure those kiddos get a front row seat, carry vomit bags ( no joke ), and travel during the early morning or night.

Planning your travels around nap time or bed time is ideal. Snacks, stickers, keep music your kids  like on hand...yes even if it is Let it Go on repeat, more snacks, possibly a travel t.v. (you know in case your kids actually watch t.v. or don't get car sick) , drinks, and more snacks.

Air plane rides: I like to hit up the dollar store for new items they have never seen before, books are great, stickers work wonders, small packs of play doh, toys that light up, glow sticks, gum for their ears, snacks, and a few of their favorite toys seem to work best for us.

What travel tips work best for you?

I can agree with all these tips, we seem to have the same system around here as well. My son also got car sick when he was younger, and it was hard to do really long drives without a few nasty episodes!

Yes. I am a SUPER firm believer in traveling during nap time. Who cares if it's 9 at night when we leave if he'll sleep instead of fight his carseat for 4 hours?!

We always plan our road trips around nap times! I can't imagine doing it any other way! I know he'll sleep for at least so long... so we take full advantage of it! :)

Agree with all of your tips. For us, it's all about a fully charged iPad and plenty of snacks.

Are you kidding me? I'm not joking at all when I say that's exactly what I do in the car... turn up my music and ignore the screams. HA HA!
Love the dollar store idea! And stickers!! I bet Mia would love them now! I must try those out on our next travels!
