I was in sixth grade when a friend of mine invited me to youth group. I went, had fun, and that was the night I gave my life to Christ. Then I went home, to house that was not godly based, to a mom who believed in God, and to a dad that was an open atheist. That day my family became my mission field.
Over the next few years, I poured my self into God's word. I studied scripture, went to church, joined youth, and fell in love with the creator of all.
"Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity." 1 Timothy 4:7

Oh Christina...I love your words here. Mostly because I can relate oh so much. And it just makes me so thankful to have a God that pursues and loves us just where we are. So thankful for Him and for you!
'That day my family became my mission field.' - i love that. I didn't know this about you. i figured that you had been brought up in a Christian home. so happy to see God won and you radiate Jesus in your life! i want that so much for my kiddos, especially now for my middle schooler.
