wendy, tink, and the hulk.

Elisabeth is dressing up as Wendy this year for Halloween. She looks so sweet in this dress. I can see her joy and innocence, when she is prancing around anticipating the loot of candy she will receiving in just a few short days.

She began watching this version of Peter Pan, sometime last spring. That is really when her love for fairies, Pan, and Wendy began. She even became a tad bit giddy over the thought of Peter Pan coming to her bedroom window, and whisking her away to Never Land. The hubs was quick to reply, if anyone EVER! comes to her window to come get him.lol. I finally had to put to rest the idea of Never Land by explaining to my red head, that Wendy lived in London, and we don't...therefore Peter Pan can't visit us because it is too far of a fly. She bought it, for now.

This year will be the first year since Jude was a baby, that he will dress up. He flat out refused to put on a costume the past two years. I begged and pleaded with him this year to be Peter Pan, or at the very least Captain Hook. He didn't take my bait. He opted for a more manly option of The Hulk. He looks sooooooooo cute.

Lyla costume is non-negotiable, she is going as Tinkerbell. She looks adorbs! Now if I could just get her to leave the wings alone, she might actually make it to one house dressed as a fairy.

I ordered Elisabeth's costume from Once Upon a Time Boutique on Etsy. It is so well made...and it was only $20.00!?!!

Truth be told I don't really like Halloween. I am ready for it to be over with, so I can move onto more bigger and better things ... like Christmas. :)

Are you a fan of Halloween?
What are your kiddos dressing up as?
Do you raid the candy bags after the kids go to sleep, like myself ? (insert sheepish look here)

E looks super cute and i mean, you know how i feel about peter pan. L O V E ! i hope lyla leaves on her wings. and seriously how cute will Jude be as the hulk?!

i'm indifferent to halloween. my mom made it big when i was little. She's hispanic so it was always more of the El DĆa de los Muertos (day of the dead) type thing she has a 4 foot tall paper mache skeleton named "sancho bones" for a candy holder.

my kids have never been big fans of halloween. plus they're old now and bonus G has a football game that night SO…that works out perfect for me. we'll probably go for pizza after the game.

I loved Peter Pan growing up.
Ms. Ava is going as a bunny this year. Izzy's old costume. She has the hop perfected. ;) :0

I'm with you. Much bigger fan of Christmas. But the kiddos do look pretty cute in their costumes...and I guess that's what it's all about!

How sweet!!! I love the story of Peter Pan, though I'd be very suspicious if somebody came to my window and wanted to whisk me away. Good cover for why he won't visit ;)

SO with you on halloween. I keep thinking that once my little baby gets here I will feel differently in dressing her up! lol. BUT--your little "wendy" is seriously precious. I love these photos Christina. No doubt the hulk and tinkerbell are just as adorable!

I love Halloween in my small town. You know in the movies where is shows a bunch of kids walking down tree lined streets? That's my town. My kids have gone to the same houses since they were babies and many of the same people still live there. My boys are getting too big to want to trick or treat or dress up anymore and it makes me a little sad.

That is the best Wendy costume! and $20?! Can't beat it! I personally am not a fan of Halloween except for dressing up (I'm a big fan of that!), I won't lie, I'm so ready for my Christmas decor!
And guess what we're dressing up as? Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Wendy, Tinkerbell and Smee (sp?)!!! Though Elisabeth is a way cuter Wendy than I'll be!
