diy:

step one: buy tiki torches for a BBQ ... use them once and then allow them to sit in your garage for 5 years /// step two: plant a garden, grow 300 cucumbers, and then suddenly learn how to can the cucumbers...and as a result of canning  have more empty mason jars laying around the house than you know what to do with /// step three: buy gold spray paint /// step four: spray paint the INSIDE of your mason jar gold /// step five: cut the insert out of your tiki torch and place inside the gold mason jar (after the paint dries ) /// and then bam! you have a pretty light / bug repellent out side. // easy peasy lemon squeezy

p.s. if you want you can also just buy a tiki torch from the dollar store and a mason jar in replace of steps one and two :)

LOL! This is brilliant.
You could also buy the tiki torches, use them once and then leave them standing in your backyard for 5 years. Who does that? We do.
