sundays are my favorite day of the week...

I love early mornings with the hubs and strong coffee.
The sound of the hubs practice worship songs, while I get ready for church.
/// great worship and soaking up the good word ///

We usually come home get in our cozies and bunker down for the day. Just us, our little family of five.  We eat all.day.long. Elisabeth and Jude consume massive amounts of doughnuts and soda. Sometimes we watch movies, enjoy the sunshine, or garden ... all depending upon the season.

/// every sunday night we eat cereal for dinner ... every sunday night ///

The hubs and E love Cracklin' Oat Bran the best, Jude's  loves  Reese's Puffs, Lyla goes for the Cheerios, and my favorite is  Frosted Mini Wheats. Note: we do not discriminate against cereals, all are loved and welcomed in our house.

We usually end the night by sitting together on the couch as a family, watching Once Upon a Time and The Amazing Race. Jude usually ends the night by abandoning these show for Dora or Team Umizoomi. Lyla abandons the shows for a warm bottle and her crib. Elisabeth, our little night owl never abandons, always stays up until she can barely keep her eyes open... she likes to soak up every last ounce that the weekend still has to hold.

What is your favorite day of the week?
Better yet, what is your favorite cereal?

i love sundays too! after church I always get in my sweats (but do that whenever I am home) and love the sundays when we just lounge around, snack all day and stay home! what good family time together! and i'm pretty sure it was you who reminded me of captain crunch cereal awhile ago and now I want it all the time!!

I love this little post! Hm. My favorite day is definitely Saturday. Or maybe Sunday? Can I say both? I agree-- weekends are just the best-- for all of the reasons you've already mentioned. We actually don't have a tv, but Hulu is our friend : ) (LOVE Amazing Race! That's our Sunday night tradition too!)

Favorite cereal? My New Season's market sells a "natural" brand of Honeygrams. So. Good!

Can you add a 6th person just for one of your sundays? It sounds fantastic! Strong coffee, music, relaxing, Amazing race (my favorite) and topping off with cereal? Yes please. :) I do LOVE sundays too.

Hmm...it is so hard to pick my favorite cereal..but I do love quaker oatmeal squares...that is probably my favorite as of right now.

I love Sundays best as well...especially when there is nothing on the agenda.
And as for cereal, yes, yes. I could eat it for dinner although most days it is an after dinner snack. OK, every day.
My fave right now is fibre one honey something or other, although I love granola...and frosted flakes, oh and mini wheats {the new really small ones!). I could go on forever, not picky over here.

Ooooh, it's a toss up between Sundays and Fridays. We've had Friday Fun Day since our oldest was 3 (6 years and going strong, woot!) so that's always fun.

But Sundays are our cozy days, where we get to worship at church together, then come home and either hunker down and (*cough* maybe nap if we're lucky!) or enjoy the sunshine (which..where I live is rarer than naps!).

And cereal?...Coooooookie Crisp! Oh or Cocoa Puffs!!

oh i love sundays.. but we haven't gone to church since camila was born. i'm just not ready for her to stay in the nursery (i'm so scared of her getting sick) and i don't think she'll do good if i hold her in my arms while at the service.
so for now, we miss our church but soon enough we'll get back into it and set up a good little routine like you have done :)

and for the record, frosted mini wheats is THE BEST cereal evah!! :)

oh and hey, can you believe baby is finally sleeping more? not saying she's sleeping through the night but sleeping more than before. hip hip horrayyyyyyy!! :) xoxo
