happy birthday, lyla girl!

well miss lyla girl, what can I say ... you've gone and stole my heart and made it your own,

It has been a year full of blessings. You my dear, as just what this family needed. You bring so much joy, I feel like my heart could burst. I know that I will miss you being a baby the most.

You have learned so much in just one short year. You learned how to get daddy to hold you anytime, anywhere, even when we happen to have a stroller ... or be in a store that has a cart. You have learned the art of playing princesses, and getting kissed, and hugged all.day.long. You learned how to eat cheerios, and how to con family members out of their cheeze-its.  You learned how to feed the dogs the food you don't want to eat. You have learned that a tiara is always a good idea, and that it is much better to play with your sisters toys when she isn't home. You learned how to handle extreme heat, and bunker down during a blizzard. You have learned to love music and dancing.  (this, this, and this are your favorite) You have learned how to demolish your brothers wipeout zones, and the rest of the house along with it. You learned how pose for pictures, how to make people smile, and how to sleep at night, You have learned a few first words, how crawl, take first steps, and oh ... how to be 100% adorable.

Happy first birthday my sweet girl. I can't wait to see what else you will learn, where life leads you, and what God has in store for you.
