A while back our local grocery store was offering a find the chicken event for kids. Basically find the cartoon chicken hiding through out the store and get a prize.
The husband spotted the chicken by the bananas and told Jude to stand by him for a minute because there was a lady picking out bananas and she was blocking the view. Jude waited and when the lady moved he spotted.the.chicken.
What joy.
Jude and the hubs proceeded to customer service to claim his prize. When the folks at customer service asked Jude where he found the chicken he beamed and replied :
" behind the lady's legs." yep...that is my son the little realist...he calls them like he sees them.
The caused a laugh and he picked out his prize ... a mini frozen pizza... which as you know about Jude and pizza ... he took one bite and said it was gross.
I tried embroidery once. Tried making dolls and used embroidery for their sweet little faces. I had to stop because it was giving me such massive headaches. I think I would go cross-eyed every time!!! Love the top hoop!
hahahaha. that is SO funny.
this tickled my heart!
What a let down for the little guy! Seriously, have they not heard of a match box car or something like that?! Geesh.
Loved this story, though. Made me smile wide.
perfect. that is just perfect. why oh why do we stop seeing things so perfectly when we become adults? so could we say that the nice lady had chicken legs...maybe?
so cute! : ) and I LOVE that embroidery!
thats so hilarious.
too funny!
After all that he gets a pizza?! Poor Jude.
A lollipop always works best. ;)
