The foliage is in full bloom here in the mid-west...a little earlier than normal...but just as pretty!

I am always reminded of a camp story about how the big dipper tilts this time of year to pour out gold and blood to color the leaves.

you can read the tale here.

How's fall for you...full of color?

We are past the peak here in MN... but man oh man were they in prime condition last weekend :-) I got some snapshots of them... I have NEVER heard that story about the Big Dipper! Can't wait to read it!

I just love fall, especially the colorful leaves - really liking the idea of putting them around candles.

Fall is definitely full of color here, I love the leaves on the trees... if only they would stay there a little bit longer. Soon I will be raking them all up

Our backyard is brimming with Fall beauty but it always seems to change colors earlier than the surrounding areas which are in the early stages still.
