I often spend time in prayer about relationships or situations in my life. I pray for a person's heart to be changed or eyes to be opened. As I was praying the other day I felt like maybe I need to stop praying for others to change and start praying for my own change.

To change how I handle situations, change the attitude I have, the words I use.
To start praying for wisdom in situations.
Because after all, I am really the only person I can change.

Such an important message! One I needed to hear! I am always praying for others but I need to stop worrying about their hearts being changed, and start worrying about how I can change mine and better impact their lives with the change I experience :)

I love if you change nothing, nothing will change. I'm all about doing things for yourself & taking action.

Thank you for always having inspirational quotes posted here. I really like the first one! I also need to re-think/change how I handle certain situations.

That's such a good mantra to have. I've realized that being flexible can get you to the same place, just in a different way

oh my oh my. Those words you just said...so simple...and SO hard to do. I especially feel this with my children. I am the one that needs the change of attitude and heart...theirs will follow. And wisdom...oh boy. When it comes to parenting...most days I'm lost. I need a strong hand to guide and lead me on this one...my most important journey.
