Sometimes I don't feel like rising and shining

Sometimes I don't feel like worshiping.

Sometimes I don't feel like being social or a good hostess.

Sometimes I don't feel like being patient.

I have come the realize that in the moments when I don't feel like doing a certain task...it is probably exactly what I should be doing.

"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
Colossians 3:17

I AM IN LOVE with this picture. Going to share it with my youth group- HOW true! Everyday is worth lived if we lived for the Lord.

A few nights ago it seemed like my kids were awake off and on all night...rough going! Anyhow, I was a crab about it when morning came until I remembered that we are to give thanks in all circumstances...Anyhow, your post really hit home today while remembering that :)

Le sigh - this is so true. In yoga it's always the poses that I hate the most that are most beneficial for my body.

Oh yes. I completely agree with you. Sometimes we just need to do the opposite of what we are feeling.. isn't that what we tell our kids? be nice when they don't want to be nice? and to listen when they don't want to listen, etc etc. I love your devotional wednesdays! thank you :)

Love that print!
And I totally feel ya. So hard to do, but don't we feel better about ourselves and life when we actually do those things? I know I do!
