Peppermint Whipped Cream (AD) featuring Midwest Dairy from Hy-Vee is exactly what you need this holiday season. I can always count on Hy-Vee being stocked with fresh dairy products. Make a simple syrup. 2 cups of water + 1 cup of sugar + 1 teaspoons of peppermint extract. Bring water and sugar to boil, stir until sugar is dissolved. Add extract. Allow the mixture to cool and set aside. This simple syrup can be used to flavor coffee and hot chocolate, it can also be used to make Peppermint Whipped Cream. 


For Peppermint Whipped Cream whip 1 cup of Hy-Ver heavy cream + 1/2 cup of powdered sugar + 1 tablespoon of peppermint extract (if you don't want to make a simple syrup just by peppermint coffee flavoring). Whip until peaks form. Chill until ready to use. Top on coffee or hot chocolate.
