WIRE PASS TRAIL HEAD located in Kanab, Utah is just as beautiful as Antelope Canyon with out the lottery system and crowds!
Antelope canyon is $100-$120 a person depending on the time of day. You must have a pass to visit.
Wire Pass you only pay $5 a person.

We visited during March. The weather was perfect. There are new restrooms in the parking lot. I strongly urge you use these because this will be your only chance.
You take a tiny hike to the canyons. It's a 3 mile hike (6 miles round trip) to Buckskin Gulch. Pack a snack + plenty of drinks...you can relax in the gulch.
Plan on getting your feet wet. The canyon has condensation and water puddles. Older family members can balance on rocks and avoid the water. The littles may have a tougher time.
In hindsight I wish I would have had water shoes...but it was a little too cold for that. An extra pair of socks or pants for falls would have helped greatly!
