He has made everything suitable in its time. He also has also put the past in their hearts, yet no one can grasp what God does from the beginning to end. So I realized that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and enjoy themselves during their lives. // Ecclesiastes 3:11-12
Life is a gift, a gift from God...we only get one...we should use it to the best of out ability...to love others...serve others...show gods love... and to enjoy all the simple pleasures life has to offer.
I loved this quote and fully am going to embrace this. Nothing is sweeter than those memories that are only yours. Sure they can be captured in a photograph, but the truly good ones get tucked away in your memory file for you and only you.
Love that quote. Very convicting, because as much as we bloggers want to document everything....sometimes it's better to leave some memories good or bad private.
Christina, you are so speaking to my heart right now. This is something that has SO been on my mind. I've found myself leaving my phone (gasp!) and camera at home so I am just be and enjoy!
i love this. i love taking pictures and want to capture those moments but do feel like i'm wasting time and missing out on things by trying and trying to get a picture of my moving baby :)
This quote hit me instantly. I feel like too often I am living to show what i am doing. I follow my children around with a camera and cant wait to post. I want those moments that no one knows about. It is time for a change. Thank you for this post!
Yes and yes. Will definitely be adapting that this summer. I love those moments that no one will know about except us.
SO, SO true! I think we often forget about living in the moment. xo
love.
What a great reminder!!! I love making memories and not having my phone to instagram it. But just to have and to keep for myself and family. Very sweet!

Agreed! I'm definitely happiest when I'm in the moment experiencing life and when I give the computer, phone, etc... a rest. Thanks for the inspiration.
I totally agree!
