Yet, another Frozen cake. Can we really ever have to many things Frozen? I think not...at least not according to both my daughters.
This cake is simple and you get to keep the characters...bonus!
You'll need:
Frozen characters
cake mix and pans
blue jolly ranchers
blue icing
cook cakes in desired pan and shape // cool and remove your cake from pan // ice your cake blue (or whatever color you choose) // melt jolly ranchers in the oven on parchment paper...parchment paper is a must...melt at 350 degrees for about 8 mins. (give or take) allow jolly ranchers to cool and remove from parchment paper and break or snap to make "ice" // place your characters and "ice" on top of cake and your done!
If you really want to make your cake experience fun I suggest you add a Frozen obsessed toddler to the mix...she will enjoy screaming, and I do mean screaming..."ANNA!" "OH!! SNOWY!" "ANNA ELSA!" all the while trying to pull the characters off the cake.
The total cost of this cake is $12 ...including the cost of characters.
