We live in a winter state. Going out side daily is not an option for us. Playing with same toys day in and day out gets old fast. I like to stalk pinterest from time to time for activities to keep my sanity entertain my kids. I saw THIS idea a while back, and decided to give it a try.
It was a hit. They loved making it and loved playing with the sand even more. The clean up was do-able considering it came with 30 mins of play time.
Here is what you'll need:
2 cups of flour
1/2 cup of oil
1 package of hot chocolate
Mix all together and play.
Have you pinned and did anything lately?

i love the activities you engage your kiddos in and love that you're not scared of the mess. i need to be less uptight about that, but if it's to keep my sanity, lol, then i should then!
This looks so fun and I love that it is all edible materials! Thanks for sharing.
nice idea!! i just pinned this idea to tape a paper towel roll to the wall and let him drop things through it...he will love this i think!
what a great idea- since my daughter is loving sand right now.. and eating it lol
We are in day three of snow days from hell here in Northern Michigan and I NEEDED this. Love!
So interesting!! You always do such fun things with your kiddos! And I agree with Leah--love that you aren't afraid of the mess!
and no worries if eaten :)
Oh! Thanks for sharing! This looks like a lot of fun, I want to try it with my kids. How big of a tub or container did these ingredients make? I would need enough sand to entertain as out 20 kids. Haha
