Disclaimer: I am not super mom. My kids watch t.v., occasionally stay in their pj's all day, and eat cereal for dinner when I don't feel like cooking. I do however really enjoy being a mom, and I do really enjoy finding fun things to play with my kids. I mean who doesn't need a legitimate reason to look at Pinterest!? Truth be told most the times when I am setting up an activity for them to do is because I really need just 15 mins. to get something really exciting done...like clean up or cook dinner.
Painting with water is my main go to entertainment. It is simple. You'll need a cup of water and some paintbrushes. Let the kiddos go to town. Our porch is right of the kitchen so when I need small children out from under my feet to the porch they go, to paint. The best part about this is that the clean up is almost non-existent.
What are some of your go to activities?
p.s. If your not busy do me a favor and check out PBK. THANKS!

This is brilliant; using your whole porch as a buddha board. I think it's inspired.
uh, genius! :D
This is so clever! Reminds me of the kids I taught ballet to, after class when they were hot, they'd lie on the floor and I'd spray them with water and they'd jump up to see their silhouette. Downside is the hand-cramp I'd get from the bottle and all the spraying!
wesley likes to paint with water...like in the toilet bowl. man, if i don't forget to shut that door he is in there as fast as he can get!
but i do love this non messy idea!
I like this one too :) I also like silly putty because it's relatively mess free
What a great idea and without the mess!
You are so patient and I think, one of the coolest mama's around.
Ava loves to color right now...sadly, she colored the piano the other day. Not so good.
