lyla, animals, and a giveaway.

For those of you who have been reading this blog for a while, you know that Lyla is a busy girl. For those of you who know my Lyla-bean in real life, you know she is a really really really busy girl. She never stops. She is always climbing, and running, and playing, and getting into to things she shouldn't. She never watches t.v. or cuddles much since I took the "ba-ba" away. Until last night.

The hubs and I were watching Life of Pi. Lyla was in awe. She was pointing and saying "ohhhhhh!" and calling the gigantic tiger a dog, while barking "ruff ruff" ... needless to say it was cute and funny.

She also loves books. She will sit on my lap and read books.

Good Bless You and Good Night is right up her alley. It is a book full of adorable little animals that she can bark at while reading (we are still working on animal sounds) . It is also a rhyming book. (you can read about the benefits of rhyming books for kiddos...here.)

Now if I can work animals, books, and Life of Pi into all aspects of the day maybe, just maybe, I can keep her from climbing on the kitchen table.
